Two months after Lenovo officially unveiled the Mono Razor 2019 folding smartphone, the device is set to roll out sooner rather than later. While there is no exact launch date, the General Manager of Lenovo's Mobile Division in China shared a picture of the new model's retail box, showing its model number (XT2000-2) and some of its specifications.

As you can see from the picture, this device comes in a fascinating triangular box that has a production date of January 9, 2020. Although notably recognizable, the tag 'Made in India' states that Lenovo is assembling devices under the government's Make in India scheme which provides tax exemption for companies to set up manufacturing facilities in the country. Lenovo announced last month that it will postpone the Motorola Razor 2019 launch indefinitely. The company did not reveal when the phone will be launched eventually but said the timing is not entirely different from the original. According to original plans, the device will go pre-order on December 25, with sales beginning January 9.

The company unveiled the Motorola Razor 2019 folding smartphone in November, leading to several weeks of spec pics, leaks and teasers. The device comes with some nice features and a boatload of nostalgia, starting with the clamshell form factor for days. The phone is always expected to come to India, as Motorola India has posted all the teasers on social media, but it is expected to cost 1lakh more than the relatively more affordable price tag it makes in the country - the tag will cost around 1.05 lakh worldwide.
