It's out. The next foldable phone from Samsung has been leaked on the internet. And no, this isn't the next-gen Samsung Galaxy Fold that is expected to release next year. It's the Motorola Razr-like clamshell folding phone that's been rumored to be in production.
The phone's first picture shows the phone folded. When closed, a dual-camera system will double up when the handset is opened as the main camera. An LED light panel is located on the left of the sensor. But this handset seems to have a much narrower panel unlike the Motorola Razr. There is a small rectangular cutout displaying time and what seems to be indicator symbols and battery level. The remainder of the screen has a glossy finish and if there is a wider display above the monitor noticeable in the shot, it is difficult to determine.
The phone's right side seems to hold the rocker volume and a flat power button. As we saw on the Samsung Galaxy S10e, the power button being flat means that it could hold a fingerprint scanner inside. The phone's bottom holds the USB Type-C connector balanced on one edge by a grille.
The phone is finally opening up to show a big, foldable panel. The panel is surrounded on all sides by wide bezels. There's no button, unlike the Motorola Razr. Alternatively, the handset has a webcam with a hole-punch. This monitor stands at 6.7 inches, according to previous reports.
Next year the handset is expected to be launched and the price tag is much more competitive. The price is estimated to be $845 (~INR 60,000), according to a report from The Korean Herald.
