In due course, Huawei will unveil the successor of the Huawei P30 series. Huawei P40 and Huawei P40 Pro will be released soon. With no improvement in the political situation between China and the United States, both phones are expected to use Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) instead of Google Mobile Services (GMS). Today, courtesy of the 91 Vehicle, we examine phone renderers for the first time.
Phone renders give us a good glimpse of the phone from all angles. The flat display appears in front of the phone and there is no curve. Captures the dual-camera setup placed in the upper-left punch-hole of the display.
In this setup, an ultraviolet lens can be used to take group selfies. The bezels of the phone also look very small. Even if you can, in fact, they are a bit harsh.
The back of the phone is nice, and Black Callaway has revealed the lack of brightness we see in Huawei's more exciting colorway. The launch will definitely get some more color variants. The Huawei P40's camera module sits at the top left of the phone, similar to what Samsung has seen on the phone recently.
The rectangular module seems to have a triple-camera setup. The Leica branding, which sits next to the camera setup, suggests that the German lens manufacturer will also make the P40 the same as the previous Huawei flagship.
The phone's render shows no physical fingerprint sensor and the power button is too narrow for the home. This indicates that the display may have a fingerprint sensor under the phone's AMOLED display.
Notably, the phone does not have its predecessor, the 3.5mm headphone jack. A mono speaker sits under the phone with a USB Type-C port.
Since the Huawei P30 series launched in March last year, the Huawei P40 series launch may be a few months away. Expect more information on the phone in the coming weeks.
